• General care of a casualty including the procedure for obtaining help
• Dealing with an unconscious person
• Giving rescue breaths
• Performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Dealing with choking
• Dealing with serious bleeding
• Dealing with a suspected heart attack casualty

Muncaster Event
4th – 6th May
There will be floral displays in the Church and Castle by the Millom & District Flower Club in addition to free Castle garden tours and cooking with flowers demonstrations. The gardens are usually in peak flower at this time of the year and well worth a visit.
Seaquest
12th May
This year’s event will be the 7th annual seaquest in Ravenglass and it will be organised by Copeland Canoe Club.
It will start at 1030am, with all paddlers having 3 hours to gain as many pints as they can. It is both a fun, friendly event for families and leisure paddlers, and a competitive event for elite paddlers.
Muncaster Festival
25th – 29th May
Exciting entertainment for all the family with daily shows, husky rides, outdoor games, storytelling and much, much more! The Festival culminates with the international Jesters Tournament held on the final day when the Fool of Muncaster 2013 will be crowned.
